Way to go Marlins!
The Marlins bring the 2009-2010 season to an end earning themselves some bragging rights. With 83 individual records broken the Marlins have excelled to new heights. 3 swimmers qualified for Eastern Canadian Nationals, two for the first time and sent 17 swimmers to the SC East Coast Champs in PEI, winning 11 Gold, 11 Silver and 6 Bronze medals breaking 4 provincial records and 18 club records with an overall placing of 4th, an improvement of 4 places from last year! Provincial SC Champs gained 38 Gold, 38 Bronze and 18 Silver which placed them 2nd in the Province. On top of all that, 7 out of the 12 swimmers chosen for the Provincial Travel Team which traveled to Edmonton in the spring came from the Marlins, bringing home multiple medals. Also, 4 swimmers were chosen to train and compete at the prestigious Eastern Canadian Tri-Meet representing the Atlantic All-Star Team. Towards the end of the season the Marlins sent 21 swimmers to LC East Coast Champs and 5 to Canadian Age Group Champs, where many swimmers had best times and high individual placings.

The Mount Pearl Marlins are looking for new swimmers between the ages of 7 and 12 that are able to complete two laps of the pool.
The Marlins invite you to come out and join the fun! Whether you just want to swim to help you pass the next level of swim lessons or you want some competition, this swim team is the place for you! We hold FREE tryouts to join the team each September for the proceeding year. Come out and enjoy the fun, make new friends and fall in love with the sport of swimming! Hope to see you there!
